Pre-Approval Requirements
- You must have a valid Social Security Number and be at least 18 years of age
- Your business must be located in the US and have a valid street address
Restrictions
The following requirements must be met to be eligible for a credit card merchant account:
- Merchants must not be in a current bankruptcy that has not been discharged for a minimum of six months
- Merchants must not be listed on Visa/MC's CTMF File
- Merchants must not have provided falsified or fictitious information
- Merchants must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicant must be an owner, officer or company director
Ineligible Business Types
- Water purifiers
- Adult entertainment and materials
- Check cashing services
- Cruise lines
- Direct outbound telemarketing
- Gaming (casino, sports wagering)
- Travel agencies (selling travel/tour packages)
